Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
What is TAB?
TAB stands for Teen Advisory Board. Teens who are passionate about improving the library experience and providing services for teens will meet on a monthly basis to discuss ideas for programs, and other ideas to make APL a teen-friendly space!
TAB members will have the opportunity to influence and attend teen library programs, work as volunteers, and act as ambassadors for the library in their schools, clubs, and teams.
TAB Benefits

TAB Requirements
- Must be 13-18 years old,
- Have parental permission,
- Attend and participate in monthly meetings.

How do I join?
Download and print the TAB Application and TAB Parental Permission forms.
- Fill out the TAB Application form. You can submit the form online, download and print a copy below, or pick one up at the APL circulation desk.
- Have your parent or guardian fill out the Parental Permission form. You can download and print a copy of the form below, or pick one up at the APL circulation desk.
- Bring your completed form(s) to the Anderson Public Library circulation desk, or turn in to an APL employee. Youth Services will receive your application and contact you with next steps.
